Under My Hat: Tales from the Cauldron - Jim Butcher, Frances Hardinge, Holly Black, Delia Sherman, Neil Gaiman, Tanith Lee, Peter S. Beagle, M. Rickert, Tim Pratt, Margo Lanagan, Isobelle Carmody, Ellen Klages, Jonathan Strahan, Diana Peterfreund, Ellen Kushner, Charles de Lint, Jane Yolen, Garth Nix, Patricia A There wasn´t a story I didn´t like in this book. Some were good, some were less good, some were great, none was bad. This was really a good fantasy compilation. A witch/ wizard stories only anthology.

And yes, it´s a fantasy book. I only put it on my "books for kids"-shelf because most of the stories were suitable for bedtime stories (you´ll agree with me when you compare the book to the stuff kids watch on tv these days.(I certainly know what my nephew does....)). None of the stuff ( well, MAYBE "Great-grandmother in the cellar") was too scary and everything turned out good in the end.

And the authors leave you crawing for more storyplot.

I´ll definitely give The Dresden files now a shot.
The Rose of Fire (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #0.5) - Carlos Ruiz Zafón Good thing this book is a freebie.
The story is much too short, 35% of the whole ebook. The rest is an excerpt of [b:The Prisoner of Heaven|13623012|The Prisoner of Heaven (The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #3)|Carlos Ruiz Zafón|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1335994402s/13623012.jpg|18067409] .
Reawakened: A Once Upon a Time Tale - Odette Beane I am pretty sure, everybody who loves the series will definitely pick up this first book.

Edit: Here´s the first chapter as a sneak peak http://de.scribd.com/doc/130430526/Reawakened-A-Once-Upon-A-Time-Tale
The Witch Sea - Sarah Diemer Nice little twisted piece. A young lonesome witch learns that there exist two sides of one story and that times change. And she falls in love with a female sea creature, she´ll never see again. A bit sad, but I liked the story.
Wonderful Wonder World (Wonderful Wonder World, #1) - QuinRose, Soumei Hoshino, Igor Kusar No, not my shoujo-cup of tea....
But It wouldn´t say no if QuinRose there would be a Alice Adventures in Wonderland/ Through Looking glass book with Quinrose illustrations.....

Richard Diamond - Privatdetektiv Fall 11+12

Richard Diamond - Privatdetektiv Fall 11+12 - Blake Edwards Liked it. My first Richard Diamond audio book :)

Zettai Kareshi 01 - Yuu Watase Two stars for the drawing, the story is meh....
Don't Open Until Christmas - Christopher Morley Interesting about this reprint is that 24 pages of these 48 pages are completely blank and the book starts with page 9.

The story itself has the fomat of a square children´s book, which is kind of irritating since you read a book in paperback format.
And the story isn´t for children. It´s about the moving of the world, it´s about God´s view, man´s view and alcohol abuse.

So keep this book away from innocent children until they have finished college (that is close to the point when they likely need this story) and of course, don´t open until Christmas.
Weihnachtskatzen - Julia Bachstein (Hrsg.) Dies ist eine Sammlung literarischer Weihnachtskatzengedichte und -zitate, die mit wunderschönen Katzenbildern verfeinert wurde.
The One I Love - CLAMP, Nanase Ohkawa, Mick Nekoi, Ray Yoshimoto I didn´t like the book very much, because the text passages & the manga passages didn´t work well together....
Witch: A Summerland Mystery - Fiona Horne Where the kittens can I find that book??
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon 01 (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, #1) - Naoko Takeuchi, Costa Caspary 5 Stars for Sailor Moon, 4 for the reprint edition.

Dabei kennt jedes Mädchen "Make-up", nicht wahr? Musste das wirklich sein?.....
Etiquette of an English Tea (The Etiquette Collection) - Beryl Peters This little gift books gives a brief overview about Victorian English Teas. It is also filled with little poems and receipes for tea cakes.
This is NOT an approved guide how to behave when you attend an Afternoon tea, you never could put such a guide on 64 pages. The book just gives you an image how some Tea afternoons could have looked like in the best case according brief historic information basics.
For a detailed image & guide how to attend an English Tea, look for other books. This book is meant for joy, dreaming & a good cup of tea with some cake :)

This manga would be very mean & creepy if the dialogues with Dalian wouldn´t be so funny. She´s very cute for a devil (except the thing with the keyhole).
At the same time, this manga is some kind of cruel...
The Scroll - Anne Perry Liked the story. It was well written & felt longer than 64 pages. Anne Perry has proven again that she knows how to bind a reader to a story world and how to leave the reader crawing for more, no matter which genre she writes about.
Victorian crime isn´t required when modern day times themselves have enough mystery food hidden in the shadows of history.
Snow White and the Huntsman - Lily Blake, Evan Daugherty, John Lee Hancock, Hossein Amini 3.5 stars, actually...

I liked the book, very dark & gloomy story, but the end came to fast. The second part of the book seems to run, after the two main characters started to get to know each other.

There are several parts I missed:

1. How did Snow White learn to fight so fast, that she could beat Revenna?
2. How did Finn and his men get more safely through the woods?
3. What´s the mirrors secret and what happend to it?
4. Uhm, hello? Where did Snowy get her confidence & new battle setting information from? Sarah´s ghost? Revenna´s mind while sucked lifeless?

5. Who else does agree, that she should have made Eric to an advisor (*cough* secret lover *cough*)

I hope the movie is a bit better made ...
