Rutland Place (Inspector Pitt #5) - Anne Perry, Beate Felten Just when you think all Inspector Pitt novels are the same...

I liked seeing Charlotte´s mother in this book, as well as Monsieur Alaric. We all knew there was unfinished business with that guy since "Paragon walk" :) And yay for Emily standing ground.

The novel was well written. Anne Perry proved her knowlege of the Victorian society and her talent of illuminating secrets again.

The end totally shocked me. It had almost psycho thriller qualities and I can only feel sorry for Eloise, poor thing...

4 of 5 stars.

I really woundn´t mind having some character illustrations in the books sometimes....
